Superior quality Montana 2-row base malt made from spring barleys and crafted in Butte Montana. The color is light gold and the flavor and aroma profile is sweet and malty with undertones of honey and cracker, the perfect base to paint your beer masterpiece on. Excellent brewhouse performance combined with a clean, sweet malt profile, the ideal base malt for all beer styles.  It is higher in protein, color, and enzymes as it is germinated like a 2-row pale malt, but kilned like a pilsner malt.  This means that it is very highly modified with good yield, easy processing and quick runoff, but still very light in color.  Whether you’re brewing a blonde ale, a hazy IPA an imperial stout, or a fine whiskey, Montana produces one of the the best base malts on the market.
