YEAST STARTER KIT: 1000ml Erlenmeyer Flask 1oz Fermaid K 8oz DME and Instructions

Yeast starter kit including directions, a student grade Erlenmeyer flask, 1oz Fermaik K, and 8oz DME.  Starters are great for boosting the cell count and testing suspect or outdated yeast.  The most common size used to make starters using White Labs brand yeast.  In the lab world, these flasks are known as “Student Grade”, not the highest grade flasks. A great quality flask for making yeast starters! We do not recommend the use of an electric element with these flasks. If this cannot be avoided, we recommend using a larger pot as a hot water bath on the stove.
