Here’s one of the hard to find bits you will need if building your own 2″ column.  It is a quality piece of Cambridge or Kobe Wieland brand name copper pipe perfect for your DIY distilling column condensor.  Fits our copper beer keg flange and our 90 degree copper elbow.  This is a sweat/solder fitting and you will need silver solder (see other items) if you want your fitting to be food grade.

Generally not in use for home DIY construction and not usually available locally in smaller cities.  Suggested additional items:  Triclamp Copper Flange for on the boiler or beer keg, gasket for that flange, 2″ copper elbow and 2″ to 1/2″ copper reducer for the top.  You can get the rest  of the 1/2″ stuff routinely at most hardware stores without raising eyebrows.  Our silver solder is sold by the foot so you don’t have to buy a whole roll.
