With traditional barb fittings it is difficult to clean the tubing and pipe fitting because they are attached. With these quick disconnects, you can quickly remove the tubing, rinse in sink and submerge in sanitizer whenever you want. Male 1/2″ QD clips into any Female 1/2″ QD and the barb side connects to 1/2″ID High Temp Tubing. (See our other items)

SAFETY NOTES: Be sure to learn how your disconnect setup works and clips together dry, then on cold liquids. Don’t go straight to hot wort while you are learning. Know your equipment and only disconnect when flow is OFF and tubing is clear of liquids. Wear brewing gloves while connecting and disconnecting.
