Here’s a brass Female Garden Hose adapter to conveniently connect 5/16″ ID or 3/8″ ID flexible tubing tubing to utility sinks, spigots, and hoses.  Fits any standard utility faucet or any kitchen faucet with optional faucet adapter.  You can use this to make your own chiller, just add copper or stainless tubing coil and flexible tubing. Can be used to create a water supply to a variety of flushing and watering applications around the home or shop.  Not for use in potable water applications.

Description

This brass adapter has a male 3/4″ garden hose thread (GHT) on one end and a 3/8″ barb on the other that will fit 5/16 and 3/8″ poly tubing.  Includes a hose gasket. Brass is ok for this part since it will never touch your brew and none of the water that runs through it will touch your brew either.

  • Connects 3/8″ or 5/16″ poly tubing to male end of standard garden hose or janitor sink
  • Useful for moving tap water to the wort chiller or condenser
