Loaded with zing, Eclipse® hops are the newest variety to be released by our friends at Hop Products Australia.  Eclipse®, previously known as HPA-016, was created in 2004 and is the daughter of a high alpha Australian and a North American variety.  The planets alligned and Eclipse® was born bright and juicy, bursting with mandarin, zesty citrus peel, and pine making it perfect for Hazy Fruit Bomb IPAs, fruit-forward hazies and even scaled back to make a lighter style.  Eclipse Australian hop pellets deliver the bold, intense characteristic punch perfect for crafting exceptional West Coast IPAs and SMaSH (Single Malt and Single Hop) pale ales. These premium 2-ounce pellets boast an impressive 17.8% alpha acid content, making them ideal for achieving that signature hoppy bitterness.  This depth is best accessed through late additions or dry hopping.  Its fresh pine elements can give it a classic West Coast IPA vibe that is killer in trendy Cold IPAs.
