This stainless steel hex reducing bushing is a high quality product used and proven reliable in the Chapman Thermobarrel.  Has a 1/2” male NPT threaded on the outside and a 3/8” female NPT threaded on the inside for connecting a female and a male pipe or fitting with different diameters.  Take a look at the pic and you will understand what it does.  Perfect for the top of distilling columns and the insides of brew kettles where you need to change a 1/2″ Female port to 3/8″ Female port.

Description

Reducer hex bushings are pipe fittings used to connect pipes of two different sizes. They have male threads on the outside and female threads on the inside.  Also used in air compressors, automatic manufacturing operations, aircraft controls, and tire installation in industries including agriculture, mining, road construction, firefighting, and aviation.
