White BUCKET LID Drilled and Grommeted for Airlock With AIRTIGHT GASKET SEAL – Fits MANY Plastic 7.8 or 7.9 Gallon Buckets and Pails

Description

This lid will fit most USA buckets with a top that is 13.5″ on center.  This means the inside diameter of your bucket lip must be approximately 13.25″ and the outside diameter ~13.75″.  Does NOT fit the new style BSG soft fermenter with ears for handles (we have that type lid too, see other items).   If you need buckets or a different bucket lid we have 4-5 sizes and types in stock.  Any buckets shown here are props and are not included in this auction.

This lid is HDPE which is food safe.  This item is manufactured specifically for use in food processing.  This lid makes a nice airtight seal when pressed down by hand on the bucket.  If you put a brick on it while fermenting you won’t need to slit the skirt or disturb sediment fighting to get the lid back off.  If you are going to be shipping the bucket or doing long term storage, use a rubber mallet to lock the lid down.
