Here’s a case of 24 strong, light-weight, and easy to handle 500ml PET bottles for Soda or Beer.  The white tamper-evident caps shown are included.  These brand new PET plastic soda bottles are essentially unbreakable and are made specifically for home brewing.  They are taste and odor free, impermeable to air, and the dark amber color will protect your beverages.  They have smooth sides which they are easy to label.   An affordable alternative to glass bottles, these can be reused many times and then recycled.  They are also considered safer than glass as they will not shatter if accidentally dropped.  One case is enough to bottle 3 gallons.  Caps may be black or white.

These bottles are made from a special virgin PET plastic and it is non-absorbing, non-porous, and non-wetting (hydrophobic), so that it will not carry over flavors from one batch of soda or beer to the next.   Even if you love your glass bottles it is very handy to have a case or two of these around as a spare at bottling time.  Also handy when there is a little left and you want to free up that corny keg.  Useful for long-term cellaring or lagering in the bottle

These soda bottles may not be indestructible, but they are certainly unbreakable.  Their non-absorbing BPA and plasticizer free non-porous surfaces are easy to clean and sanitize.  They are durable and will last you many uses.  Do not use hot water over 120 degrees.

There is an urban myth claiming that PET contains toxins, is unsafe for re-use, and is a major source of air pollution – utter nonsense.  Modern PET is exceptionally pure and stable, and it does not contain Bisphenol A or other problem additives.
