Here’s a brass Female Garden Hose adapter with clamp to conveniently connect 5/16″ ID or 1/2″ OD flexible tubing tubing to utility sinks, spigots, and hoses. Fits any standard utility faucet or any kitchen faucet with optional faucet adapter. You can use this to make your own chiller, just add copper or stainless tubing coil and flexible tubing. Can be used as water supply to a variety of flushing and watering applications around the home or shop.
This adapter screws directly onto a janitor’s sink or commercial sink fixture. This means that if you are going to connect it to your home kitchen sink, you will need a faucet adapter in addition to this piece.

This brass adapter has a gasketed, swiveling Female Garden Hose fitting to easily connect ½″ tubing to utility sinks, spigots, and hoses. 25 feet of coiled copper tubing is only about $22 so you can save about $25 if you make your own. Brass is ok for this part since it will never touch your brew and none of the water that runs through it will touch your brew either.
