Sorachi Ace was originally produced by the Sapporo Brewery of Japan in the mid 80’s, and is now grown in the US. It is a cross between Saaz, Brewer’s Gold, and BeiKei No. 2. Considered a dual purpose hop, Sorachi Ace has a distinct lemon citrus flavor, with some noting flavors of orange, cilantro, dill, and oak. Average alpha acid: 11%
