HEX LOCKNUT 1/2 Inch Grooved for O-Ring 304 Stainless Steel Threaded Pipe Fitting for Home Brewing

Stainless steel lock nut generally used for setting up a weldless bulkhead arrangement for boil kettle, mash tun or fermenter.  This is the standard 1/2″ NPT nut used in home brewing.  Can thread onto a 1/2″ NPT nipple.  This nut has been cast, threaded, and has a machined groove to accept an o-ring on one side for a superior seal.  This and pipe tape give it a watertight seal that will stand up to boiling.  An essential piece of hardware when plumbing for your brewing setup.  Fits all our 1/2″ NPT thermometers, ball valves, gaskets, barbs, spigots and o-rings.
