FLAT False Bottom 10″ Round Stainless Steel Screen for whole grain brewing H110

$14.95

NOTE:  It is unusual for you to need this flat screen. Most customers will want the domed one.  Useful for your creative inventing efforts, this drop in false bottom flat screen can be used in a variety of ways including converting a cooler, kettle, or brew pot into a mash tun.  Every part of it is stainless steel.  The perforated false bottom fits into the bottom of your tun or fermenter.  When leaving the tun wort will pass through the small holes in the false bottom and be strained by the false bottom.  A grain bed will be formed and you can sparge that if you recipe calls for it.  Some brewers include rice hulls for better filtration.  You can bolt this screen to the bottom of your existing domed false bottom for improved filtration and flow-through.
