Dizzy Pig founder Chris Capell’s first memory of curry was a dinner he had as a young boy at his English neighbor’s house, and it was not pleasant. Thankfully that would not be his only memory. Years later he developed a personal taste for all types of curry found in foods from around the world. With the idea of creating a new seasoning, in 2012 Chris decided to play around with the different spices that bring that “curry flavor”, specifically fenugreek. Fenugreek is a small mustard-yellow seed that has an undertone of maple syrup. It gives that bold flavor and makes this seasoning so versatile for all types of cooking.
