Having trouble with high gravity beers not carbonating properly after bottling? Especially during the cooler months Danstar CBC-1 has solved that problem. Use it in conjunction with the usual amount of priming sugar whenever you bottle a higher gravity beer – works like a charm. Does not seem to impart any flavours that might compete with the original yeast used on brew day. Worth the extra couple of bucks per batch.
Refermentation (100 percent ) can be completed within 14 days at 15-25 degree C with an inoculation rate of 10G of yeast per hl of beer (1-2 million cells per ml).
