Here’s the most commonly used flat washer in home brewing. The OD of 1.5″, ID of 7/8″ and thickness of 3/32 fits all your 1/2″ NPT type barb, bulkhead, and spigot fittings. These 18-8 AN960C flat washers are corrosion resistant and are used in military applications. AN 900 series flat washers meet standards for the Navy and Airforce, which is where the washers receive the “AN” name. Absolutely flat on one side with a beveled edge as shown on the other.
