SuperJet WINE FILTER PADS COARSE Grade #1 for Buon Vino SUPER Jet Filter (Factory Pack of 3)

Description

The manufacturer recommends that your wine be clear already before filtration.  Run it through the #1 pad first before filtering with the #2 or #3 pads or else it will take forever and maybe clog.  The coarse ruffled side faces the wine and the screen pattern side faces the output carboy.

The #1 pads are Coarse Pads. They remove large particulate in a heavy wine, typically those heavy reds.

The #2 Pads are Polishing Pads and they remove medium to small particulate in your wine and add the shine to your wine.

The #3 pads are Sterile Pads – very tight pads that remove very small particulate in your wine.

INSTRUCTIONS: Sanitize and soak the pads in one quart of cold water mixed with 0.75 grams of metabisulfite and 3.5 grams of citric acid. Allow the pads to soak until they no longer float, ensuring full saturation for effective filtration.
