Admiral is a new UK varietal that has resinous, orange and citrus characteristics.  It is considered very intense in the flavor profile and has an average alpha acid percentage of 14-16%, which makes it an excellent dual purpose hop.  UK Admiral hops are a great bittering variety that features a resinous aroma with an orange and herbal flavor which are great for brewing English-style ales.  Sold by the ounce.
