Here’s the TINY 1/4″ NPT MPT 304 Stainless Steel fitting you have been having a hard time finding. This will connect any 1/4″ ball valve to 1/2 inch tubing (14mm).  This is the Barb pipe fitting you need to go from your 1/4″ NPT female ball valve port or coupler to 1/2″ ID hose.  The threads on this fitting are male to go inside the female.  You just put some pipe dope in the threads and screw it in. 
 
This is NOT the most common size used in home brewing, but is often used when a smaller tubing diameter is desired.  Most use 1/2″ but if you need 1/4″ here ya go. If you want a faster fuller flow we also sell the 1/2″.  See our other items.
 
This 304 stainless adaptor is durable and easy to use.  It is solid and well built.  This barb should last you several lifetimes!
