Here’s a hard white Teflon gasket with a molded-in 304 Stainless Mesh Screen to fit standard 2″ tri-clover or tri-clamp sanitary fittings.  This is the standard size envelope gasket for USA type beer kegs and beer keg stills. Works as a gasket and a filter/retaining screen.  Can be used as a filter screen to trap large particulates passing through T.C. fittings. Often used in distillation rigs to retain tower packing like raschig rings, berl saddles, and choreboys.  Used in pot distillation to retain botanicals in the vapor stream. Can be used along with a coffee filter paper to retain the activated carbon for filtering neutral spirits.

Description

These teflon and stainless 2″ screens offer excellent performance even under extreme conditions. They serve as a gasket and a screen between two tri-clover fittings.  Made from food grade PTFE Teflon® this 2″ Tri Clover Compatible gasket is excellent for high temperature locations such as where a connection will exist in the hellish heat wash of a burner.
