The only complaint we get about the Vintage Shop funnels is that the #35 screen is too fine. (We have those too, for $1 less) These coarse replacement filters do allow more particles through but it is easier pouring and takes less time and effort with fewer pauses to rinse the screen or allow the funnel to drain. All those big chunks are still caught and the fine stuff will settle out at next racking. Think about it. I only use my funnel to go from primary fermentation in a bucket to secondary fermentation in a carboy. It’s a pain that the funnel takes so long to train. Problem solved, these are the Ideal mesh strainers for straining pulp and small particles. They snap securely in place just like your orginal screen.
