Oaking requires some experimentation, be sure to sample your product frequently all along the way! These cubes add smooth oak, coconut, vanilla, and coffee notes. They are commercially produced and consistent from batch to batch.
Some brewers sterilize their oak by soaking in white alcohol or Bourbon. Just put them in a mason jar and pour some neutral vodka over them. The cubes will be sanitary in a few hours. Don’t let the vodka go to waste…
