Stainless steel nipple generally used for setting up a weldless bulkhead arrangement for boil kettle , mash tun or fermenter.  Can thread in to a 1/2″ ball valve.  NOT the same as a hex nipple, this nipple has no hex making it ideal when you need to extend into the void and the hex would be an obstruction.  Not the same as a close nipple or threaded stem either, as there is a small gap between the threads as shown in the image.  Use it anywhere you need to convert a Female to a Male or attach two male connections.  A versatile piece of hardware for your brewing setup.  Fits all our 1/2″ NPT ball valves, gaskets, barbs spigots and nuts.
