This drop in false bottom converts a cooler, kettle, or brew pot into a mash tun.  Every part of it is stainless steel.  The domed perforated false bottom fits into the bottom of your tun.  Designed for all grain brewing, providing optimal filtration and improved efficiency in your brewing process. The dome-shaped design helps prevent clogs while ensuring even distribution of water through your grain bed. The perforated surface pattern maximizes flow while effectively filtering out grain particles, resulting in clearer wort.  When leaving the tun wort will pass through the false bottom and be strained by the false bottom.  A grain bed will be formed and you can sparge that if you recipe calls for it.  Some brewers include rice hulls for better filtration.  A must-have for all grain brewing.  Measures 13.39″ across. Description

For brew pots, keggles, coolers, and any round shape container with at least a 13.39″X13.39″ opening at the top.

Measure your kettle or cooler to verify it will fit a 13.39″” round false bottom. This is the ‘bare bottom’ you will ALSO need 8″ of 3/8″ High Temp Tubing and two stainless steel worm clamps.  We suggest a 3/8″ barb to 1/2″ FPT (Female Pipe Thread).  This item is also available in several levels of kit.
