Pouches give beginners superior results! The pouch system is a breakthrough in the traditional beer kit. Each Brewery Pouch is double bagged and has two inner pouches, one on each side. One side has been cold filled with some of Europe and Australia’s finest brewers’ extracts. The other side contains a high quality yeast strain matched with the extracts to give the desired aromas for that specific brew. Also in the “dry side” you will find the instructions on how to brew your beer, which are usually something like “Mix with hot water in your fermenter. Rinse pouch with hot water to get out every last bit of malty goodness. Top off. Check temp. Pitch yeast. Affix airlock. Ferment. Bottle. Wait. Chill. Drink”. Pretty simple’
Recipe kits marked “Dry Hopped” will contain additional hops for adding even more great aroma, and will be a slighly more complex kit. Most kits will require the addition of cane sugar or corn sugar (cleaner tasting) to boost ABV, and sugar for bottle carbonation. We sell these items plus variety of malts and flavors to “hop these up”.

Mangrove Jack’s Extract Brewery Pouches are free from caramel and added malt colourings leaving you with pure malt flavours. These extracts are cold filled into a pouch instead of a can and you get almost twice the volume of extracts as you do with canned kits. Each kit comes with complete instructions, but the hardest thing you have to do is boil some water and mix it up in your primary fermenter. Say goodbye to getting your wife’s kitchen stove all gummy – no more messy malt boilovers and besides the empty pouch no evidence left behind!
