~ 2 PACK STANDARD VINTAGE SHOP BOTTLING SPIGOT FOR 1″ HOLE ~
Here’s a pair of Vintage Shop brand water tight bucket spigots for most containers with 1″ hole. Turns flow off and on. Spout fits in neck of bottles, or add a short length of flexible tubing. Filling spout is graduated to fit three sizes of flexible tubing 5/16″ 7/16″ and 3/8″. This is the standard filling spigot in the homebrew hobby and also has a wide variety of other uses.
This is the new version not the old stock – Improved design – tubing doesn’t turn when handle turns.
To Install: Unscrew the nut leaving one rubber gasket in place. Insert the spigot in a 1″ hole. Place the other washer and the nut in back and tighten by hand. Seriously 20 seconds to install – beat my time! It will take you longer to order than install.
Test seal with water. Practice filling empty bottles. Try attaching a short length of flexible hose. Works with filling wands.
The spigots mount to your bucket or carboy with 1″ drilled hole. Predrilled buckets are available by special order in 6.5 and 7.8 Gallon.
Here is the spigot on a bucket with some hose attached. It sticks out from the bucket about 1.5″. Some of you may find it hilarious that I have to remind bidders “the bucket and hose are props and are not included”.
