1oz LIBERTY American Hop Pellets

Liberty is a resinous aroma hop with floral and spicy notes.  Traditional, German-type spiciness makes it a perfect hop in any lager or ale where you want it to be All-American.  Lib is a weird triploid variety, the result of breeding German Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops with a downy mildew resistant USDA male.   Possibly a half-sister to Mt Hood, Crystal, and Ultra.  Whatever it is, the variety was developed in 1983 from the USDA program at Oregon State University and released in the US in 1991.
